This is a Bad News/Good News review! The bad news is that I learned last night that the Landmark is closed for remodeling. Very sad....
The GOOD NEWS is though that the same owner has opened the Terminal on the same property! WOW! It is a really awesome place. Not as many beers, but still some old [Belgian] favorites on tap such as Chimay and Delirium Tremens!
Had two appetizers, both good. Ryan took good care of us as the bar and explained the origin of the interior building materials. Way cool! You'll have to stop in and check it out.
Will definitely be back.

More or less the Map Room or Fat Head's of Milwaukee. This place is obviously making it on reputation and word of mouth, because it's sure not making it on location. What a truly strange location, literally a couple hundred feet from one of the Milwaukee Airport runways. You'd never know it from the inside though, where it feels every bit like a neighborhood corner bar, complete with old-school woodwork and tin ceiling. Quite a nice little beer house.
Tap selection was pretty expansive at 48, covering all bases from Miller products up to Belgian tripels and lots of American craft brews in between. Didn't try the food but the pizza looked/smelled pretty good. Waitstaff was prompt and conversational. Too much stale smoke odor -- give the place a good scrubdown. Nice place... I'll have to make an excuse to head up to Milwaukee again soon.

Really enjoyed our time at the Landmark during a recent visit to Milwaukee. As others have noted, a very large variety of beers is offered. An excellent sampling of Belgians was much appreciated. Great service and friendly locals make this an excellent choice for the beer lover.

This place is very close to a strip club and the airport, I wasn't expecting much. Was I wrong. It's an old stage coach station and very charming. While it may be old, it was very clean, another first for an old Milwaukee bar. I had a great time. Also, I'm a Bud girl but they had dozens of beers that more then impressed me. A recommended stop anytime I'm in town. The food is limited, but who cares, we're there for the beer, music and fun. A highly recommended stop.

The selection of great beers from very fine craft breweries is outstanding ..... not only the regionals but also Bell's, Dogfish, and some Belgians. The owners are experts. Female bar staff not as knowledgeable but very nice. While food is limited to Pizza and appetizers, the Margaerita pizza was really good. Place is right next to airport and real historic feel inside ..... good atmosphere for beer hounds ..... one of the best in USA for selection

Not to knock the food... the food is great, but limited to pizza and snacks. The tap beer selection is amazing! While the selection of tapped beer changes, there are certain 'standards' that don't go away. If you are remotely close to Milwaukee and like trying new brew locations, you MUST go to the Landmark.

The Landmark is such a jewel. I worry how it continues to make it with its fantastic local and Belgian beer selection in such a seemingly improbable location. I guess with the huge tap variety there's something for everyone and that keeps things going. But for me, having Piraat and LaChouffe on tap all the time says it all. Right up there near the Map Room. The only thing that needs to be done is to handle the smoke when it's crowded. That's getting pretty out of date (and rude).

This was my first visit here. They had 49 beers on tap.
As far as service goes, they opened early to accomodate our downtown between a wedding and reception. The grill, which doesn't open until 5 on Saturdays, opened for us at 3:30. The 2 bartenders were really nice. I'll definately visit here again.

I found this bar about 2 years ago, it's nice music isn't too loud, you can have a good conversation. The staff is great when you get to know them, only problem is that it could be a little bigger.
